5/5/19 - With the start of this new series through the parables of Jesus found in the Gospels, we study why Jesus spoke in parables to begin with and our responsibility to them as we study Matthew 13:10-17
5/12/19 - Pastor Mike examines the Parable of the Sower found in Matthew 13, Mark 4 and Luke 8. This parable is key to understanding the other parables according to Jesus.
5/19/19 - We examine the parables of the tares and wheat, mustard seed and leaven (Matthew 13:23-43) where we see Jesus teach that while the church grows large, there will be corruption mixed in.
5/26/19 - Perhaps you've heard the parables of treasure and pearl in a way where we are the ones who sell all to Jesus, but is that really what those parables are teaching? What if you are the treasure? Join us as we study Matthew 13:44-52 and discover a little bit more of what the Kingdom is like.

6/9/19 - In Matthew 20:1-16, Jesus teaches us that God's economy is one of grace and so we should expect surprises.
6/16/19 - In Matthew 22:1-14, Jesus speaks another parable about His rejection by the Jewish nation and His subsequent work to the Gentiles. It also deals with the garment needed to enter into the Kingdom - are you wearing the correct "clothes" to get in?
6/23/19 - The love of Jesus for the lost is overwhelming and we rejoice as we see it in the Parable of the Prodigal Son. But if we forget about the other son, the one we can sometimes act like, we miss the rest of this parable. Join us as we examine Luke 15:11-32.
6/30/19 - Pastor Mike examines the parables found in Luke 11:5-8 and Luke 18:1-14 which all focus on the aspect of prayer. Through these we answer why we should pray, why we should be confident in prayer and what to avoid in prayer, as well as other practical and revelant challenges to us today in our own ideas of prayer.
7/7/19 - In Luke 16:1-13, Jesus uses the parable of the unjust steward to challenge us to use our resources we have now (time, talents, gifts, influence, wealth) to prepare for the future that awaits.
7/14/19 - In studying the parable Jesus gave to teach us to take the lowly place (Luke 14:7-14), Pastor Mike examines why humility is a key trait for the Christian life.
7/21/19 - In our closing study of the parables, Pastor Mike examines the last kingdom parables given as it relates to Jesus' 2nd Coming and what it truly means to be ready.
