About Us

                                                                      The Purpose Of Our Church

We desire to be known as a church that celebrates the Awesomeness of God; who He is; what He has done: and the Plan He has for us

We desire to lead people to the Spirit-filled personal relationship with Christ

We desire to do everything possible in the absolute love, to disciple each person in obedience to His Word

We desire to walk prayerfully together through conflicts and life struggles, empowered by His Spirit and guided by His Word

"And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of out hands. " Psalms 90:17

                                                                                      Our Core Values

Missions Driven

We know that we are called to take the Gospel to all parts of the earth, so we will work together to support, through giving and prayer, many forms of missions, both home and foreign. We will make missions financial support a priority in our giving and use those funds to help reach lost souls around the world.

Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8

Family Affirming

We seek to provide a church family which strengthens marriages and families. We will provide Biblical preaching, teaching, and support for marriages and families. We are committed to strong children and youth programs to help grow strong men and women of faith.

Ephesians 5:20-6:4; 2 Peter 3:18; 1 Corinthians 13

Fellowship Minded

We know that a strong bond between fellow Christians builds a good structure of support through life's struggles. We seek to build caring relationships that are guided by Biblical truth and grounded in spiritual accountability. We understand that real and lasting spiritual life-changes only occur in the unity and diversity of deep relationships however messy and hard that may be at times. We will nurture the growth of these bonds through large and small groups and various informal gatherings.

Biblically-faithful

We make Scripture the final authority rather than church tradition. We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. The Bible is both timeless and timely relevant to the problems of today to all people at all times. We seek to be innovative and current as long as we do not violate scripture. We are committed to equipping Christians, through the preaching and teaching of God's Word, to follow Christ in every direction of life.

John 1:1; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Colossians 3:16-17; Matthew 4:3-4; Psalm 119:9-11; Joshua 1:8

Prayer Focused

We believe that God desires His people to pray and that He hears and answers prayer. We seek to rely on prayer as a part of every aspect of our church's function. We will take every need, idea, plan, and concern to the Lord in prayer as we seek God's direction in guiding us.

Philippians 4:6-7; Matthew 7:7-11; James 5:13-16; Luke 11:1-13

Evangelism Oriented

We seek to continue Christ’s work by reaching lost people. We will seek to provide successful outreach to our community to minister to people and bring them to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Colossians 4:3-6; Matthew 9:37-38: Romans 10:14-15

Disciple Making

We seek to help people grow spiritually. We will provide Biblical instruction and encourage believers to discover and exercise their spiritual gifts. We believe that God wants us to challenge and equip believers to serve Him and that He wants every member serving willingly and generously for heavenly rewards not earthly gain.

Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12; 1 Peter 4:9-11; Colossians 3:23-24

                                  Statement of Faith (summary)

A full version of our Statement of Faith can be furnished for your review.

We believe in one true and living God subsisting in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who created all things and upholds all things by the word of His power. (Matt. 28:19; John 1:1-4, Col. 1:12-20; Heb. 1:2,3)

We believe the Bible is the Word of God verbally inspired and without error as originally given. The Bible is the only supreme authority in faith and practice. Therefore, it is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God; fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. He was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life. He willingly died a substitutionary death for all mankind. God laid on Him the iniquity of us all and by His blood we are redeemed and cleansed from all sin and reconciled to God. We believe He was buried, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven and intercedes for us at God's right hand. We believe the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent. (John 1:1-3,14; Heb. 2:14-18; 4:15-16; I Corinth. 15:1-3; I Peter 2:24; I John 2:1-4; Luke 1:27-35; John 10:30; John 14; Isa. 53; I Peter 1:18-19; Heb. 1:3; I Thess. 4)

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, sent to indwell, comfort, guide, teach, empower the believer and convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. (Romans 8:11; John 3:5; John 16:7-15; Eph. 1:14-18; Eph. 5:18)

We believe man was originally created in the image and likeness of God: he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The saved shall be raised when Christ comes for His Church. The unbelieving will be raised at the second resurrection to judgment and everlasting punishment; and that of the believer, in everlasting joy and bliss. (Gen 1:27; Romans 3:23; 1Cor. 15:20; John 10:26-30; Rev. 21:8; Rev. 21:1; Romans 8:1)

We believe that Satan fell from his lofty estate and became the author of all evil and the cause of every curse. He is under the just condemnation of God and he and all his cohorts shall be eternally tormented in the lake of fire. (Isa. 14:12-17, Ez. 28:12-19, Rev. 20:14,15.)

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ of which He is the Head consisting of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. We believe the local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism (by immersion) and the Lord’s Supper. (I Cor. 11:23,24.) (Eph. 1:15-23, Col. 1:13-18.) (Acts 2; I Thess. 4.)

We believe Christ has committed to us the message of reconciliation and has commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything He has commanded. (Matt.28:19,20, II Cor. 5:17-21, Acts 1:8.)

                                              ECCLESIASTICAL AFFILIATION

This Church is independent from any ecclesiastical body and shall so remain, acknowledging only the Lord Jesus Christ as its head; the Holy Scriptures as the only infallible guide in matters of faith, discipline, and order; the Holy Spirit as its teacher.
