Our senior pastor, Mike Massey, moved with his family from California to follow God’s calling to pastor Ebenezer Faith Bible Church.  Mike grew up in Virginia Beach, VA before moving to Lynchburg to attend Liberty University.  There he began ministering at Calvary Chapel Lynchburg.  Upon graduating from Liberty, he served as the Youth Pastor at a church in Wilmington before moving back to Lynchburg and once again serving at the church he served at while in college.  Upon returning, he led the Wednesday night children's program for 4 years.  From there, he was the college/career pastor for 10 years before moving to California to be the Senior Pastor at a fellowship outside Fresno.  Still having a heart for the East Coast and having fulfilled the role the Lord called him to in CA, he began exploring opportunities to which led him to us.

During his time in ministry, he has been able to travel all over the world on mission trips and speaking at various churches and conferences.  He has a heart for missions and loves taking teams overseas.  After his love for Jesus and his family, you will find him rooting on his sports teams of Washington D.C. or doing something related to coffee.  He is also an avid runner, running in 5K's, half marathons and the rare full marathon length races.

Pastor Mike is also highly involved with the Cru ministry at Bloomsburg University, coaching high school soccer and using his gifts to help out Columbia County Christian School.
