12/21/25 - We introduce the Gospel of Luke and examine how both Zacharias and Mary each respond to the message from the angel Gabriel.
12/24/25 (Christmas Eve Service) - Examination of Mary's song of praise *note, the audio in the first 60 seconds is poor due to microphone being off, but it is quickly corrected*
1/11/26 - We examine the birth of John the Baptist and the prophecies that followed.
1/18/26 - The birth of Jesus was fully controlled and preordained by God, which is one of our major focuses on this text and our applications from it.
2/1/26 - As we study the text of Jesus knowing He was to be about His Father's business, we examine our own lives and how we can be about the Lord's business as well.
2/8/26 - John the Baptist's ministry was getting people ready for the Messiah and readiness meant repentance. As we study his ministry in this study, we also examine whether we are ready for the Messiah's return and what that means for us.
2/22/26 - Christ was tested and tempted in the wilderness by Satan for 40 days and came out without falling. His example and the power of the Spirit shows us how we can overcome temptation as well.
3/1/26 - Familiarity is very dangerous to our souls. The people of Nazareth were so familiar with Jesus that they missed who He is and our familiarity can cause us to miss who He is and what He wants to do.
3/8/26 - In our text, Jesus calls Peter, Andrew, James and John to be fishers of men, after using a miraculous catch of fish to gain their attention and we look at multiple applications for our lives that come from this passage.
3/22/26 - Tension happens in our lives at various times and in our text this study we see lots of tension, but Jesus doesn't meet expectations but transforms lives.
3/29/26 - Jesus came to make a whole new system, not just fix the past, and in our text, we see Him create a new person and a new movement. We then exam how this applies to us today.
4/12/26 - In our text, we see Jesus confront the Pharisees on two different Sabbaths about their wrong understanding of it. We examine what the Sabbath truly is, how they missed the point, and what Sabbath means for us today (as well as how we can miss the point on our walks with Jesus).
4/19/26 - Jesus chooses twelve disciples to be His apostles and then immediately lets them know what the cost will be. For us, we are reminded that following Jesus will cost us something but we must choose The Kingdom over our own comfort.
4/26/26 - No matter who the person is (friend or foe) we are called to love them anyway and we examine what this means.
5/3/26 - What is the foundation of your life built on and are you still building on that foundation? We know what we are building on by examining whether we are obedient to the words of Christ or not.
5/10/26 - As Jesus encounters two very different people on opposite sides of the social and political spectrum, we learn that not only does the Lord see everyone, He cares about everyone intimately as well - including you!
5/17/26 - Our expectations of what we think God will do versus how He works can create moments of doubt and wrestling in our mind and it certainly did in John the Baptist's mind. As we examine his questions, we see how Jesus still deals with those questions/doubts we have and why it is important to bring those to Jesus.
5/24/26 - It can almost seem that Jesus goes out of His way to elevate women in a society that did not value them and in our study today, we examine a handful of women mentioned while also taking time to show that the more we are forgiven, the more we will love.
