9/28/25 - As we begin our verse-by-verse study through Colossians, we see Paul praise three specific qualities of the Colossians that really should be found in everyone who follows Christ.
10/5/25 - As we examine the prayer Paul prayed for the Colossians, we find a model prayer that we should pray for ourselves and others, as the requests in this prayer are qualities God wants to see in us and will therefore answer.
10/12/25 - Jesus is above all, beyond all and holds all things together and by looking at Jesus, we can know who God is and what He is like. As we study these verses, we see the centrality of Christ.
10/19/25 - Our attitude and mindset plays a huge part in our service to Jesus. In this passage, we see Paul's mindset and discover truths we can apply as we minister for our Lord.
10/26/25 - Paul warns the Colossian church about being taken captive through philosophical deception. We examine the similar deceptions we see in our world today and how to avoid being taken captive ourselves.
11/2/25 - In our text, Paul warns about teachings that lead people astray, primarily focusing on religious traditionalism, mysticism and legalism, all teachings we still see in our culture today as well.
11/16/25 - The spiritual clothes we choose to put on and put off are of utmost importance. In our text we examine those characteristics we are to put off.
11/23/25 - There are "clothes" the Christian should always be wearing and we look at those in this study as Paul lists them for us.
11/30/25 - Having told the Colossians how they should be "clothed", Paul describes what that looks like in our relationships, both family and work.
12/7/25 - Prayer should be more like a war-time walkie-talkie than a domestic intercom for our own comforts. As we examine what Paul prayed for and asked for prayer for, we learn not only applications about prayer, but specific things we can pray for which can improve our corporate and private prayer lives, as well as our impact on the world around us.
12/14/25 - As we finish the book of Colossians, we see the large heart of Paul through the relationships he had and learn about each of these people he greets.
